The first look was created by using a curling iron to form the soft waves on top. The rest of the hair was curled with a 1" curling iron. To finish the look a molding mud or putty is applied by separating hair into a soft tosseled, sexy look.

The second look is naturally curly and was enhanced with a half inch curling iron to make curls smooth and tight. Then the hair was pinned up to create a soft up do leaving the front out to fall around the face. This creates a seductive asymmetric look.  Spray shine was applied to make curls very shinny and to eliminate frizz.

Image 1 - This hairstyle was achieved by using a Pliable Polish to create the two-stranded twist effect.  The back of the hair was them placed in a ponytail as a base.  Commercial hair pieces were placed and glued on the ponytail making a quick weave look to create volume and texture.

Image 2 - The short choppy hairstyle was achieved by using a Pliable Polish and a Sprtiz to create a defined and distinctive style

Follwing the instructions provided by Artistic Director, David Diequez in the How to Video section, Editorial Texture I acheived this style.  Using Hair Spray to add height along with  Clear Paste to creat smooth edges this creation came to life.

With the knowledge obtained from the How to Video section, Beachy Waves, this style was accomplished on the hair.  To silken the naturally course hair texture, the hair was cleansed using Shampoo and Conditioner.  After Blow Dry and applying a thermal protectant the beachy wave technique created an edgy look.

I had a blast participating in this contest!!

My inspiration was derived from creating a Twisted Glam Look which takes classic shapes from the 20's, 30's and 40's and combines them with 80's textures.  I used a texturizer to plump the hair and give it thickness and Hairspray to provide hold and control the wild texture.  You can see more photos in the December issue of Modern Salon.  The curls were created using a 3/8" iron.

This was a photo shoot I did and here I did a partial updo with a sexy professional style with height and teasing.  It really captured the look I was going for in that particular shoot.

The black and white photo I did a choppier more sleek look to really give off that "sexy in white" essence.  I colored it dark brown/soft black to play up the white.

The photo in blue I went with a hot red to play up the blue outfit and cut it in a nice angle with some flirty side bang,  Blew it straight with a nice round brush.
